programs. Meetings include brief business sessions where we look after the Club.
The Rides
Year around, the Club plans and enjoys regular weekend rides. Start times vary with the season; common routes are in the Willamette valley. Short rides are 5-30 miles and standard rides in season are 30-80 miles along our many routes.
Rides take place as announced and riders should go only on those of which they are capable. However, once a ride starts, the group looks after all riders to ensure their safety, ride completion and enjoyment.
Wednesday Wanderers
We also ride Wednesdays out of Albany for impromptu routes. During longer days of summer, we have evening rides during the week.
Tour
Annually, we usually plan a week-long camping/bicycling tour with a sag to carry our gear.

We enjoy bicycling and each other; there's plenty of room! Ride with us.
Bicycling Is What We Do
The Albany/Lebanon area and the Willamette valley offer wonderful roads for bicycling. This region also offers challenging hills. Mostly we ride at a leisurely pace; almost always we ride to food. Occasionally we have competitive rides where speed and hills are the focus.
While faster riders may ride off, we never leave anyone behind.
The public is cordially welcome to ride with us, and interested riders should review our website or contact the club for ride details.
Meetings
We meet at 7:00 PM on the first Thursday monthly in the conference center at Lebanon Com-munity Hospital. Special meeting times and places are described here and in Outspoken.
Programs
Frequently, meetings include special presentations on topics of interest to bicyclists. Past programs have included: nutrition for bicycling; stretching; Across America tours; RAM (Race Across America); latest in bicycles; preparing for a tour, the law as related to bicycling, on-the-road bicycle repair; riding techniques & safety; first-aid basics, stretching, cooking, and other interesting

Generally we're low-key. We like to ride, but we are happy also to stop and enjoy this beautiful val-ley. We look after each other and try to be sure that everyone is having fun.
We occasionally have special rides that take us to wineries or cemeteries, on ferries or overnight camping, or week-long tours. We do some fast rides that are strenuous and challenging.
Strawberry Century
Each June we produce the Strawberry Century tour, a premier 55/72/102 mile event to initiate summer. We also help the community
